The district package includes curriculum kit materials and resources for classrooms, facilitators, students, parents, and community based on 25 students per 15 classrooms for each grade level (1-6). The school based curriculum utilizes web-based curriculum with built in facilitator script and notes. Each grade level is delivered in 2 sessions with each session ranging from 30-50 minutes a session dependent on the grade level. Each grade level is developmentally tailored, focusing and engaging students in topics and activities appropriate for the grade level with takeaway materials as reminders of skills learned. Added components include increased communication with parents or caregivers through take home materials including the parent/guardian consent form, session summaries and teacher reinforcement activities. The evidence-based program also focuses on aligning with state standards for health, and safety education, which allows a complementary curriculum-based approach.
